Eat REAL America Member comment: The Farro Salad with a Crab Cake was really delicious! Such a nice place and seemed to have healthy options.
From their website: The restaurant has sentimental value for many West Michiganders. There are memories to be made and stories to be told at Rose’s. The Gilmores are honored to bring their brand of dining and hospitality to the shores of Reeds Lake. The menu has gone through many changes over the years, but at its core, remains a pleasant fusion of Mediterranean, Italian and American cuisines. A few time-honored traditions remain on the menu–most notably Bub Rose’s burger and Rose’s legendary caramel corn. The atmosphere on the patio and four-season deck is peaceful with fantastic views of Waterfront Park, the Grand Rapids Yacht Club and Rose’s own private marina. We believe the farm to table boom is more of a return to America’s culinary roots than a journey into bold new territory. We’ve been sourcing produce from local farms since the days of the Thornapple Village Inn in the late ’70s. It just seemed like the right thing to do. We began growing our own produce and botanicals in 2002 at Blue Water. In the years that followed we installed Michigan’s largest live wall at The B.O.B. and have installed several smaller live walls and gardens at most of our restaurants.
