Each and every day, you inspire us, and we are so thankful for all of you!
We love hearing all of your stories about the changes you are making and how your own REAL food journeys are changing your lives. We are always impressed to see how you are using your experience and knowledge to inspire others to do the same! You continue to be so generous with your stories, support and encouragement…
as a thank you, we want to pass this generosity on to some of your favorite organizations!
For the first 25 people who provide a recommendation in the comments below, we will donate $100 to YOUR recommended charitable organization!
What’s the catch?
There is none!
Based on your recommendations, we will donate $2,500!
The only requirements are:
- It needs to be a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
- We would love to donate to organizations that are doing something to encourage healthy lifestyles!
So, act fast!
Please provide your recommendation in the comments section below:
- If you know the EIN # (employer identification number), that would be helpful (you can quickly find it using the GuideStar search engine). If you don’t have it (or don’t have time to look it up), feel free to go ahead and reserve your spot, and then you can come back and update it with the EIN.
- If you want us to mention your name in the gift, please let us know.
- If you want the gift to be in memory or in honor of someone, please include this info in your comment.
Why are we doing this?
Your stories continue to inspire us, and we want to give back and help you support charitable organizations that are advancing the mission of helping people be as healthy as possible. You are probably involved with organizations in your community who are doing great things to help people live healthfully and we want to honor you by helping to support those organizations.
While $100 isn’t life-changing, we all know that these organizations welcome any and all support, especially in the environment we are currently in.
Believe it or not, this is our 7th year doing this and we are so humbled and blessed…we will have collectively helped over 100 organizations with $17,500 in donations after this year! Your recommendations resulted in donations to organizations such as:
…just to name a few!
Together we can make a difference!
THANK YOU so much for all you do and for helping advance our mission throughout all of our local communities to encourage healthy lifestyles.
And thank you for all you do help others to keep it simple and EAT REAL!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Beacon of Light has created the incredible “Check the Facts Curriculum” which I have volunteered on the review board for… and they have begun releasing this educational tool in public, private, and homeschools across the U.S.
Beacon of Light offers a totally unique, comprehensive sexual health curriculum that is free from the over-sexualized content and unbalanced messaging typically found in standard school curricula.
Check the Facts program is designed to give students fact-based, balanced education on sexual health without promoting risky behaviors. Beacon of Light’s Mission is to prevent the lifelong emotional, physical, and relational consequences of engaging in sexual activity at a young age. We do this by providing fact-based education that empowers teens to make informed, healthy decisions. We use a 10-day curriculum called Check the Facts in public schools.
This program covers essential topics, including:
-Anatomy
-Conception and Fetal Development -Identity and Stereotypes
-Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
-Boundaries
-Social Media Awareness and Safety
-Healthy Relationships
-Finding and Identifying Trusted Adults
-And so much more…
Be Notified When Beacon of Light’s Curriculum Videos Drop for parents and teens by signing up at https://www.beaconof-light.org/video
Support Our Mission: We’ve already raised $120K of the $220k total needed to create 10 Junior High and 10 High School videos for use at home with parents and teens, as well as for homeschoolers and as an alternative for those who “opt out” of sex education. The content is ready to go, but your help can make a difference in bringing these engaging and impactful resources to life. Help us continue empowering young people with the education they need to make informed, healthy choices. Consider donating today to support Beacon of Light’s programs.

It is a tremendous resource for teachers and schools and an excellent destination for family excursions and agritourists. It is a unique way to learn about careers in agriculture. Regardless of age or background, everyone will find immersive, multi-sensory activities and exhibits that will give them a new perspective on food and production agriculture.
Thanks Jenny! What a great experience for kids – and adults! We may have to try to make a visit on our next trip to Wisconsin.
