This Saturday is officially the first day of Fall!  To celebrate the change of seasons, we have included a few autumn-inspired meal ideas this week.

Do you think it’s possible to “will” autumn weather here sooner if we begin to eat like the temperatures are cooler?  If so, dive in, because the Slow Cooker Sweet and Savory Beef and Vegetables is a great-tasting reason to start!  Try it with the Spinach Walnut Powerhouse Salad!

The Braised Red Cabbage with Apples (which pairs perfectly with the One-Pot Braised Chicken) and the Quinoa Corn Chowder (hidden sweet potatoes and peppers in this one) are ideal to take advantage of in-season ingredients.  The whole family will also enjoy the Savory Turkey Sausage Pasta…our kids gobbled it up!  And, for those busy nights, the Thai Shrimp Curry with Spaghetti Squash will hit the spot!

From the coaching tip on Tuesday, try to take the plunge and challenge yourself and your family to experience new foods you “think” you might not like.

Remember, getting out of your comfort zone is where the magic happens!
