Week of April 3, 2017 - Weekly Meal Ideas


To help celebrate our April Superfood of the Month, we have included a delicious idea to incorporate radishes into your meals this week!  The Sweet Orange Roasted Fennel and Radish Salad is an impressive and zesty side dish with great flavor.  It’s a fantastic way to transition from winter to spring.

Celebrate spring and get your grill on!  The Glazed Salmon Sandwiches or Grilled Chimichurri Chicken and Veggie Skewers are deliciously perfect reasons to fire up the grill!  And, spring wouldn’t be complete without ideas for asparagus and spring peas — the Pasta with Mint, Lemon and Snap Peas is light, fresh and crazy good!

Farmers’ markets are opening this weekend in many parts of the country…stop by to pick up as many ingredients as possible for your meals this week!

Don’t forget about April Fool’s Day…why not use this as an opportunity to surprise your family or friends with foods they never knew they liked?  Try the Parsnip Fries or Roasted Beet Hummus, but, of course, don’t tell them they are made from parsnips or beets until they are done raving about how good they are!  Or, make the Black Dream Chocolate Cupcakes for dessert, but don’t disclose the secret ingredient until they tell you how much they like them!
