Week of October 26, 2020 - Weekly Meal Ideas


One of the joys of REAL food is experiencing the flavors from different parts of the world.  This week, we have combined in-season, fall ingredients with flavor-filled Thai, Bavarian and Mexican meal ideas!  The Slow Cooker Thai Chicken Stew would be ideal on Halloween…you can put it in the slow cooker in the morning, and then you don’t have to worry about juggling dinner and serving up treats to the Trick-or-Treaters.  (Actually, is Halloween still on this year?!)  In case you didn’t know, October 31st also happens to be National Caramel Apple Day – try our REAL food version, Date Caramel Apple Dip.

The Mexican Spaghetti Squash Stir-Fry is a different and delicious way to enjoy spaghetti squash and it pairs perfectly with both the Simple Sautéed Peppers & Onions and the Caesar Salad with Avocado Dressing.

Plus, you can make a batch of our Homemade Turkey Sausage, and then it is ready to go for the Oktoberfest Inspired Potato Skins and the Butternut Squash Noodles with Sausage, Mushrooms & Kale.

If you need an easy weeknight meal, put the Simple Savory Tuna Melt in your meal plan.  This was inspired by a trip to Oregon and your taste buds will realize this isn’t your ordinary tuna sandwich!
