There are all kinds of things to celebrate within the next few weeks…the official start of Spring, St. Patrick’s Day, March Madness…and who could forget National Artichoke Heart Day and National Crab Meat Day?!
Rest assured we have you covered for all these celebrations! If you ever wonder what to do with artichoke hearts, we think you will love them in both the Spinach Artichoke Pesto Pizza and the Green Shaksuka! The Shaksuka is a great meal to help transition from winter to spring, as it includes both Brussels sprouts and asparagus…it is really delicious and a great way to “get your green on” for St. Patrick’s Day.
Speaking of green, the Green Bean Salad with Herb Dressing is light and refreshing…the green beans are slightly cooked and have an excellent crisp tender crunch. They would be an ideal side for the Skillet Pork Chops with Apples & Onions.
If you are getting anxious to fire up the grill, the Mediterranean Burgers would be a fantastic choice…although, you can also cook them inside in a skillet. They pair perfectly with the Greek-Inspired Baked Fries.
And, for a taste of spring, enjoy the Strawberry Blue Cheese Pecan Salad or the Tropical Seafood Spring Rolls (you can use crab to celebrate National Crab Meat Day on March 9!).
