The meal ideas this week are loaded with flavor to help you fight those winter blues!
Did you know January is National Slow Cooking Month? We’re not sure who came up with that, but the Slow Cooker Borscht Stew is the perfect way to celebrate. It is a Ukrainian-inspired stew that is absolutely delicious and will help keep you warm and cozy!
The Sloppy Joe Egg Skillet is comfort food at its best and would be great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Plus, we are excited to share the Homemade Herbed Naan Bread, which would go fantastic with either of these meals. This simple, Middle Eastern-inspired flatbread is rich in history and taste — and you should have seen our son’s eyes light up when he tried this. He asked, “Did you make this? This is way better than the one from the store.” We will take that as a compliment!
If you need quick and easy this week, you don’t have to sacrifice flavor! The Curry Roasted Vegetable Pasta, Pear & Blue Cheese Pizza and Coconut Fish Nuggets with Avocado Wasabi Sauce all come together super-easy. The pasta has a mouthwatering sweet and tangy sauce that goes great with the roasted vegetables and spices. The pizza also has an incredibly good sauce, and then you can use a little of your bacon and blue cheese to serve the Pecan Spinach Salad as a side!
There are some great football games on tap this weekend (go Chiefs!)…look for Super Bowl ideas coming soon!
