Fat Tuesday is next Tuesday (March 1st)! Even if we can’t celebrate Mardi Gras in New Orleans, we can at least EAT Mardi Gras style! Just in case you were curious, the celebration of Mardi Gras actually goes back as far as the late 1700’s and, in 1875, the “Mardi Gras Act” was signed making Fat Tuesday a legal holiday in Louisiana, which it still is today.
Are you looking forward to maybe over-indulging a little on Fat Tuesday (still eating REAL food of course!), we have some ideas for you!
