Week of December 14, 2020 - Weekly Meal Ideas


Can you believe Christmas is only two short weeks away?  Hopefully, you are savoring the season as much as possible!

We have a confession…we have been holding out on you.  We were waiting for just the right time to share the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups!  Over the past few weeks, we have devoured two batches and now it’s your turn!  We all know chocolate and peanut butter taste great together and these are definitely proof of that!  You can make them in mini-muffin pans, and then enjoy a bite-sized treat to satisfy a sweet craving!

If you need meals to help keep you warm this week, check out the Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken (the flavor magic happens in the slow cooker) and the Red Lentil Tomato Soup (super nutritious and delicious)!  This soup pairs perfectly with the Not Your Ordinary Grilled Cheese Sandwich…it includes blood oranges, which should be showing up in local grocery stores, but you can also use your favorite variety of oranges for the sweetness.

Speaking of in-season ingredients, enjoy seasonal favorites like cranberries, Brussels sprouts, pears, pomegranates and more in the Christmas Burger (with its unique holiday flair) as well as the Winter Fattoush Salad and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Pears & Pistachios!  And, if you need quick and easy, enjoy the flavor-loaded version of a Thai favorite with the Spaghetti Squash Pad Thai!
