If you are like us, you are getting very anxious for warm weather and all of the fresh in-season foods and flavors! Be on the lookout…farmers’ markets will be opening soon — and we can’t wait!
As we celebrate Spring, we have included some ideas to help you incorporate asparagus into your meals this week! The Spring Parsnip and Asparagus Pasta is an impressive side dish with great flavor, and the Asparagus Stuffed Sweet Potato is a fantastic and easy vegetarian meal that might surprise you — it’s crazy good!
Keep it easy this week with the Salmon with Caper Olive Topping, Green Chile Turkey Burgers, or Spicy Veggie Quesadillas — any of these great tasting meals will have dinner ready in a snap!
Don’t forget, April Fool’s Day is Monday! Why not use this as an opportunity to surprise your family or friends with foods they never knew they liked! Try Parsnip Fries, Roasted Beet Hummus, or Black Dream Chocolate Cupcakes…but don’t share their ingredients until they are done raving about how good they are!
