Get ready to load up on tomatoes! Saturday is Tomato Day at the Kansas Grown Farmer’s Market! Conveniently, we have several meal ideas this week that are great with fresh, local tomatoes! Check out the amazingly simple and delicious Heirloom Tomato Salad. Also, the Grilled Chicken Mozzarella Sandwich is perfect topped with a juicy slice of tomato (or two). Plus, the Steak, Tomato and Watermelon Salad (yes, watermelon and tomatoes in the same salad!) and Roasted Broccoli and Corn Bowl are both perfect ideas for your cherry or grape tomatoes!
It sounds like it will also be a great week to do some grilling! Fire up the grill for several of the meal ideas this week!
