Week of December 26, 2016 - Weekly Meal Ideas


Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  As 2016 winds down and we begin preparing for our New Year’s celebrations, we want to share a few incredibly tasty ideas that would be ideal to serve during the holidays.  The Sweet and Spicy Baked Chicken Wings and Meatball Subs with Caramelized Onions are both fantastic!

Of course, New Year’s Day wouldn’t be complete without black eyed peas…so the Hoppin’ John is perfect — plus it’s easy to prepare and crazy good!  And, it’s excellent with the Whole Grain Honey Cornbread.  Most of us are aware that black eyed peas are supposed to bring good luck and extra blessings…and who doesn’t need a little of that?!

Just in case you need a new breakfast idea for a relaxing holiday breakfast (or to serve guests), try the Banana Oat Pancakes with Blueberry Sauce…just a few simple ingredients, and they are delicious and gluten-free!
