Christmas week is here! Our wish for you this Christmas is you have a chance to slow down, relax and savor all of your blessings! And, of course, the holiday wouldn’t be complete without enjoying some great-tasting REAL food! Whether you are feeding a small army or just a few, we have included some crowd pleasers this week such as the Winter Vegetable Soup and the Slow Cooker Chicken Pho – both of these are perfect comfort meals and delicious too!
For your holiday meal, get festive with the Cookie Cutter Roasted Vegetables, the Christmas Tree Salad or, better yet, the Christmas Burger wraps the flavor of the holiday all into one burger! The Cinnamon Raisin French Toast Bake is one of my favorite breakfasts, especially for a leisurely morning treat. It can easily be made the night before and would be great on Christmas morning with a hot cup of coffee!

LOCAL CELEBRATIONS!
Public at the Brickyard is having a Christmas Eve Eve Party…of course on December 23rd! Their kitchen will close to the public at 8 PM on December 23rd and the doors will open at 8:30 PM! There will be music from Jeremy Spring of Abandon Kansas, The Travel Guide, Jenny Wood & Aaron Lee Martin starting at 9 pm and Public will be serving pizzas until 10 PM! Admission is only $5 and all of the money raised at the door will go straight to the musicians! Sounds like a great way to celebrate the holiday!
Be on the lookout for opportunities to ring in the New Year! In case you are already thinking about this, a great idea would be to celebrate the end of 2014 with Taste and See!
