Week of September 15, 2014 - Weekly Meal Ideas

I am just as sad to see the summer produce leave as I am excited to see the fall produce creeping in!  This week is all about taking advantage of the end of summer freshness — with the last of the watermelon and those amazing Hatch chile peppers!  The End of Summer Chicken Foil Packet is a great quick and easy dinner to enjoy these flavors before they are gone!  And, there is very little clean up with a foil packet — gotta love that!  The Sweet Potato Burrito Bowl is a true winner this week – it is outstanding, especially with the Hatch chile guacamole!  It has been a while since pork chops appeared in our meal plans, and this one won’t disappoint – the apple kohlrabi slaw is so good you may decide to eat it on its own!  We hope you have a chance to enjoy some of these end-of-summer great-tasting meals this week!
