Fall doesn’t officially begin until September 23, but is it too soon to say “we are ready”?!

Not sure what we are more excited about…the cool weather, tailgating and football games or all of the seasonal foods and flavors that autumn brings!  Pears, apples, acorn and butternut squash, cauliflower, a resurgence of greens…just to name a few!  This week, we are easing into fall with the Quinoa with Butternut Squash and Sausage…we have been told “this was a huge hit with the whole family,” and the Squash Wild Rice Skillet combines a ton of delicious fall flavors into one pan!

This week’s ideas will also help you enjoy end of summer produce including zucchini, summer squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, corn on the cob, and garlic.  The Asian Cucumber Salad pairs perfectly with the Asian Salmon Cakes and the Panzanella Kale Salad with Corn and Figs will help you use up tomatoes and fresh corn on the cob, plus the figs add a delicious twist!
