We are now down to five days until the Autumn Equinox! So, keep enjoying all the flavor and nutrient-loaded produce that is available during this “end of summer” meets “beginning of fall” season!
Although Oktoberfest was canceled this year, you can still bring a taste of Munich into your kitchen with the Oktoberfest Burgers! Enjoy them with the Baked Onion Rings…and if you are in the mood, this meal would be great with a seasonal beer!
To celebrate the change of seasons, we have included the Braised Red Cabbage with Apples, which pairs perfectly with the One-Pot Braised Chicken. Plus, the Quinoa Corn Chowder is a delicious way to take enjoy fresh, in-season ingredients!
To help you celebrate National Mushroom Month, we are excited to share the Egg & Veggie Stuffed Mushrooms. We made this for breakfast a couple weeks ago and we always judge our breakfasts on whether they are bed-and-breakfast worthy. This one passed with flying colors! Of course, there are MANY other ideas to celebrate National Mushroom Month…remember, mushrooms are a powerhouse for your health and reducing the risk of cancer and cognitive decline!
Enjoy the official start of autumn!
