Hello Fall! I am ready…now the weather just needs to catch up! Bring on the apples, pears, and winter squash! We will ease you into the change of seasons with the simple and delicious Cinnamon Pork Chops and Beef Pho Soup (yes, you can make a crazy good version at home!). Since we are still enjoying the end of summer flavors too, I am excited to tell you about a few of the other meal ideas this week! The Sweet Potato Burrito Bowl is fantastic and the whole family loves it – and it goes perfect with my favorite snack…Roasted Hatch Chile Guacamole! I love it so much that no matter the time of day, just thinking about how great it tastes will have me craving it until I just can’t take it anymore! I even whipped up a batch at 10 pm last Friday after our local high school football game!
You probably won’t believe me when I tell you our son LOVES the Orange Balsamic Roasted Okra! Yes, I said okra! It is so good we have made it twice in one week (at our son’s request) — and that never happens in our house because we are always busy making new things for Eat REAL America! We have also discovered that we love pizza on the grill – see if you agree with the Roasted Broccoli Pizza!
