Even with all the craziness this year has brought, there is still so much to be thankful for! We are so thankful for YOU and all of the Eat REAL America community! And, we are grateful for the delicious and nutritious REAL food we get to enjoy at our holiday tables.
We know we love our traditional side dishes and desserts, but this is also the perfect opportunity to try something new! For a delicious spin on sides, try the Cranberry Apple Sausage Dressing, Sweet & Spicy Brussels Sprouts and Kale Waldorf Salad! Plus, the Rustic Roasted Pears are a light, yet decadent dessert that will compete with any of the sugar-loaded dessert options! Any of these would be flavorful additions to your Thanksgiving meal.
Just in case you need help cooking your turkey, we have also included the Herb Roasted Turkey. We made this again a couple days ago (taste-testing new leftover turkey ideas) and it is juicy and full of flavor!
The Butternut Squash Shakshuka is the perfect breakfast for your family or guests, or it would also be an excellent dinner. And, if you need a break from the kitchen, let the slow cooker do the work and enjoy the delicious Slow Cooker Sweet Potato Chicken Chili.
To get you excited about leftovers, The Thanksgiving Planned Over Pizza is just one great-tasting example of how you can break out of the “no more boring turkey sandwiches!” rut — look for even more crazy good leftover turkey ideas coming next week! And, don’t forget you can find many more recipes using the search bar and referring back to Tuesday’s coaching tip.
Thank you for being an Eat REAL America member! We are so thankful you are joining us on this journey!
