Week of May 25, 2020 - Weekly Meal Ideas


Monday is not only Memorial Day…it is also National Wine Day!  So, what better time to enjoy the holiday and a glass of your favorite wine with any of this week’s meal ideas?!

Since this weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, we have included several ideas this week that are easy to prepare, refreshing, and make great use of in-season ingredients from your local farmers’ market.

The Toasted Walnut Berry Kale Salad, Glazed Turnip and Kohlrabi Salad and Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble are all examples of how fantastic a few in-season ingredients, simply prepared, can be!  Or, take advantage of this weekend to grill the Need a Napkin Burger, Pasta Primavera with Grilled Sausage, or the Shaved Asparagus Pizza — yes, you can even grill pizza!

And, just in case you are looking for a spectacular weekend breakfast, or breakfast dinner, the Chipotle Huevos Rancheros will absolutely hit the spot!
