The Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day in the same weekend?! Don’t worry, we have you covered. We are providing some ideas this week so you can plan ahead, plus we will share a few more next week – because there are too many great options not to share!
What do cherries, salmon, avocados, figs, hot chilies and pistachios all have in common? You guessed it…they are all aphrodisiacs…and they are all part of this week’s meal ideas! Do they work? Some say yes! Even if it’s not true, you can enjoy the delicious and highly nutritious Pink Salmon with Balsamic Cherries, Strip Steak over Shaved Brussels Sprouts, Citrus Ceviche Salad, and Caramelized Onion, Fig & Gorgonzola Pizza!
When you make your caramelized onions for the pizza, consider making a large batch (you can even use your slow cooker) so you also have some for the Meatball Subs with Caramelized Onions! Make the meatballs ahead of time if desired…they also freeze great, and then you can enjoy them for a quick weeknight meal.
