Typically the term “dinner” means the most significant meal of the day, usually eaten late in the day or in the evening, but the word “dinner” actually comes from the Old French word “disner,” which means “breakfast!” So, this means it’s completely appropriate that we often have “breakfast dinners!” Obviously, where you live could influence your meaning for “dinner,” but no matter what…we have some great-tasting meals this week you can enjoy ANYTIME!
Have you ever been obsessed with a food? We are obsessed with the Korean dish…Bi Bim Bop! (Don’t you want to eat it just for the fun name?!) We love it so much we came up with a Springtime version and it is fantastic! To keep you in the “breakfast for dinner” mood, the Mexican Breakfast Pizza is quick, easy and oh-so tasty!
We have also included several other quick & easy (and delicious) meals this week. The Avocado Cucumber Salad is deliciously addicting and would go great as a side to almost any meal. The Spaghetti Squash Noodle Bowl is also amazing…according to an Eat REAL America member, “The Spaghetti Squash Noodle Bowl is one of my favorites. The Lime Peanut Sauce made this dish high end restaurant quality. I’ve added the recipe to my list of things to make when I want to impress company!”
And, the Tuna Lettuce Wraps with Mango and Jalapeno are perfect for this time of year…especially with fresh greens from your local farmers’ market! Enjoy!
