Why We Like It


Say hello to your new prized homemade salsa recipe!  Your family will ask for it often, which is no problem when it's this easy to put together.  You can even add chopped mango for a delicious twist.

Blend First:

  • 2 garlic cloves (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 jalapeno (seeds removed if desired)
  • 1 small red onion
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice (juice from one limes)
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice (juice from half of 1 lemon)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Add to a blender or food processor and blend until coarsely chopped.

Add Next:

  • 3 cups cherry tomatoes (or about 5 medium-sized tomatoes, or 1 28-oz can of tomatoes)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro

Add and pulse to combine.  (Pulse longer if you want thinner salsa, or for a short time if you want your salsa to be chunky.)

Transfer to a serving bowl.

Serve and Enjoy!

Serve salsa with tortilla chips or add as a topping on your favorite Mexican meal.

Quick Tips


If you are adding fresh chopped mango, peel and chop the mango and stir it in at the end with the cilantro.
