This is a big weekend – Halloween, the transition from October to November, and an extra hour of sleep!

If you’re looking for a last-minute Halloween treat, the Date Caramel Apple Dip is a must-try.  Naturally sweetened with dates and almond butter, it’s the perfect dip for crisp, in-season apples!  Or, if you’re craving something warm and comforting, the Butternut Squash & Apple Soup has been described as “better than Panera’s” – and it’s good for you!

We’re also celebrating our son’s birthday this weekend.  Some of his favorites include the Baked Chicken Pesto Parmesan, the Parsnip Fries (they really do taste like French fries), and the Smarty Pants Chocolate Chip Cookies (they have been described as “dangerously delicious!”).  If you are looking for family friendly ideas, these are all fantastic options.
